For those of us that hate going to the gym
With the recent study on the dangers of sitting all day, it's even more important to stand up for yourself and sneak in some minutes of exercise. Try these:
Morning
• Do pushups against the wall in the shower
• Stand on one leg while brushing your teeth; this helps build strength and balance in
the hips
• Plie while loading the dishwasher
• Squat and stand while lifting your fork or spoon eating breakfast
• Run up the stairs and walk sideways down them

Midday
• Stand up between responding to emails
• Send your doument to another print station
• Walk away from your desk at lunch -- never eat at your desk!
• Cross your opposite leg while sitting to help your spine and posture alignment
• Twist your spine by reaching around the back of your chair at the top of each hour
• Pace during conference calls

• Press your head agains the headrest while driving in the car to strengthen the neck
muscles that are weakened by hours at the computer.

• Time yourself while cleaning up the kitchen or home to see how fast you can do it
• Do crunches, plank rotations and leg lifts during the commercials while watching TV
• Do bicycle abs in bed while watching TV or reading a book

Dogs that took down osama have $2000 titanium teeth

Of the 80 member team that was deployed to take down bin Laden, few draw more speculation than the one on four legs.
Most likely a Belgian Malinois (though officials say it could also have been a German Shepherd), there was one non-human member of the SEAL team that raided Osama bin Laden's compound, according tothe New York Times. The heroic pooch was strapped to a Navy SEAL as they were lowered from a hovering helicopter.
The news of the dog's use in the raid broke Wednesday, but like the other members of the team that was deployed, its identity remains unknown.
While the dog is known for its bomb-sniffing prowess, it has other capabilities that make it a wonderful dog-of-war. According to the Atlantic, the dog may have been trained to "sniff out enemy troops from up to 2 miles away."
The sensory perception brought by these dogs in a wartime situation is unparalleled. “The capability they bring to the fight cannot be replicated by man or machine,” General David H. Petraeus said last year, calling for more use of dogs.
But the coolest thing about these guys? Many SEAL dogs come equipped with "titanium fangs capable of ripping through enemy protective armor," at a cost of "about $2,000 a tooth," according to the Daily. That'll get the job done.

WASHINGTON–In the continuing controversy surrounding the president's U.S. citizenship, a new fringe group informally known as "Afterbirthers" demanded Monday the authentication of Barack Obama's placenta from his time inside his mother's womb. "All we are asking is that the president produce a sample of his fetal membranes and vessels—preferably along with a photo of the crowning and delivery—and this will all be over," said former presidential candidate and Afterbirthers spokesman Alan Keyes, later adding that his organization would be willing to settle for a half-liter of maternal cord plasma. "To this day, the American people have not seen a cervical mucus plug, let alone one that has been signed and notarized by a state-certified Hawaiian health official. If the president was indeed born in the manner in which he claims, then where is his gestation sac?" Keyes said that if Obama did not soon produce at least a bloody bedsheet from his conception, Afterbirthers would push forward with efforts to exhume the president's deceased mother and inspect the corpse's pelvic bone and birth canal.
